Alpe Adria Cycle Track: from Austria to Adriatic Sea
Alpe Adria Cycle Track is a cycling route that connects Salzburg (Austtria) to Grado (Friuli Venezia Giulia). The route starts from the City of Mozart and along varoius valleys it reaches the Italian border.
In Italy the cycle track follows an old railway line to the Sea. Along the way you can admire natural monuments, delightful places and historic sites such as the Medieval Village of Venzone and the mysterious Chapel of St. Michael where you can visit the ancient mummies, Bordano the Village of the Butterflies, Palmanova the Starry City , the Ancient Roman Forum Aquileia, Unesco site, until you get to the golden beaches of Grado.
